Key Largo Trip, May 18-20, 2018

Over the weekend of May 18-20, 2018, Diveteacher, LLC will be offering a trip to Key Largo for student and certified divers.  For details, please download and read a copy of the Trip Information Sheet [CLICK HERE].  This will be a 7 or 8 dive trip, diving with Rainbow Reef Dive Center and with accommodations provided at the Courtyard by Marriott in Key Largo*.  The trip will be supported by PADI-certified instructors Patrick McCrary and Martin Ade, along with one or more Divemasters and/or Divemaster trainees.**

If you have never dived off of Key Largo, this is going to be a treat for you.  The reefs there are spectacular, with an abundance of healthy coral, nurse sharks, black tip and Caribbean reef sharks, stingrays, spotted eagle rays, Goliath grouper, and more.  The schedule includes a 2-tank dive Friday afternoon, a 2-tank dive Saturday morning, a 1-tank night dive Saturday night, and a 2-tank dive Sunday morning.  An optional 2-tank afternoon dive on Saturday is available, in lieu of the night dive or at extra expense.  We don't recommend doing more than 3 dives per day. Sunday, we hope to be able to dive to the incredible Spiegel Grove wreck, weather and seas permitting.

We are currently offering this trip for a maximum of sixteen (16) student and eight (8) certified divers, and we expect considerable interest. Space is available on a first-come-first-served basis. So, if you are interested, you need to sign up ASAP. We will notify you as quickly as possible if we have run out of space prior to your reservation.  If there is considerable interest, we may also be able to expand the roster. Hotel subject to change, based on total reservations and room availability at the time we reserve rooms.  All accommodations are offered on the basis of double-occupancy only. Single occupancy will be at additional cost.

**While this trip is not formally sponsored by the Georgia Institute of Technology, our Instructors, Divemasters and other staff are all part of the GT Scuba program and our primary focus is to support the training needs of the GT Scuba community.

See below and the Trip Information Sheet for pricing details. For the price you are paying, you are getting 3 days of fantastic diving, the benefit of our organizing and supervising logistics of the trip, the instruction and guidance of qualified dive professionals devoted to the quality of your diving experience, and the opportunity to dive together as part of our group. Georgia Tech scuba students will also be able to check out and use, at no cost, Georgia Tech diving equipment (upon execution of the proper paperwork). Other divers will need to rent gear in Key Largo (sorry).
